I believe that partisanship doesn’t belong in local government. It stands in the way of meaningful progress. Year after year, we've seen a pattern of candidates winning based on their political party, not based on their demonstrated experience, their policy ideas, or their understanding of what matters to the people of Glynn County. I want to change that. By running as an Independent, I am committing to set a standard of local campaigns that are issues-based, solution-minded, and responsive to the needs of all constituents.

Hard-Working
Unafraid to put in the necessary work to help the community.
Trustworthy
Can be counted on to do what she says she will do.
Principled
Her words and actions are guided by her values and her constituents’ priorities.
Straightforward
Says what she means, doesn't mince words, and cuts to the chase.
Focused
Uses her time and resources wisely to accomplish her goals.
79% of Glynn County citizens are under the age of 65.
22% are under the age of 18.
19% of families are single-parent families.*
On the current Glynn County Board of Commissioners, we have plenty of representation from real estate developers and retired business owners. What we don't have is representation from young, working families. We need commissioners who understand the crushing burden of student loan debt, the struggle to find affordable childcare, and other issues that matter to those of us working and raising a family in Glynn County in 2024.
17% of households in Glynn County live in poverty.
30% of children under 5 live in poverty.
41% of renters carry a housing cost burden, spending more than 30% of their income on housing.*
Compassionate leaders are aware of suffering - where it's occurring, who is experiencing it - and they urgently act to alleviate that suffering. When those urgent actions go against the status quo, it takes courage and determination to persist and advocate for the people who need help. Imagine if our county commission was known for its courageous compassion for the citizens of Glynn County!
When courageous compassion is channeled into the issues that matter most to the citizens of Glynn County - no matter their income level, race, gender, family status, political party, religious affiliation or lack thereof - we'll start to see real, meaningful change in our community.
Let's get started.
